Alexander Hutchinson (July 4, 1764 – February 25, 1853) was a Vermont politician who served as State Auditor.
==Biography==
Alexander Hutchinson (sometimes abbreviated Alex or Alex'r) was born in Grafton, Massachusetts on July 4, 1764.
A lifelong bachelor, Hutchinson resided in Woodstock, Vermont, where he became a successful merchant and had a reputation as an eccentric.〔U.S. Federal Census entry for Alexander Hutchinson, 1810〕〔U.S. Federal Census entry for Alexander Hutchinson, 1850〕〔(Diary entry of Christopher C.
